About Arada
Arada is the local name for the neighborhood at the heart of Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. More generally, it means "downtown" in Amarhic. For hundreds of years a marketplace has thrived in Arada, called Arada Gebeya. This was one of the great markets of Africa, a place where a buyer could find Coffee, Elephant tusks and the finest spices from Harar.
At Arada restuarant, we bring a little of the real Arada to central Denver. We serve authentic ethiopian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. We love bringing a taste of Ethiopia to the mile high city.
